Our Chapter is primarily a member service organization. Through
the volunteer efforts of our members and their financial
contributions our mission is to:|
Our Chapter has decades of experience in community service and support of Junior ROTC detachments in Moore and surrounding counties here in North Carolina. Over the past several years we have built on that experience and focused our charitable efforts on assisting veterans here in Moore County. In the past two years we have raised over $40,000 for veterans in need.
We meet monthly and have a number of events throughout the year, including a Memorial Day Service, a Golf Tournament, and a Veterans Day Observance, among others. Our monthly luncheons or dinners are fun and include interesting programs. For those who are not already members of the Chapter and would like more information about the Sandhills Chapter of MOAA, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'd love to have you as our guest at our next luncheon or dinner.
